Statement of Faith

1. We BELIEVE in one God, Maker of all things, eternally existent in three Persons, the Trinity-Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. We BELIEVE that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnate (flesh and blood), dwelleth among men. He was begotten by the Holy       Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life as true God and true Man.
3. We BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ.
4. We BELIEVE that Jesus died a vicarious death.
5.  We BELIEVE in His glorious resurrection, His ascension to heaven, seated at His father's right hand, and His personal return at His second advent.
6.  We BELIEVE in justification as a judicial act of God on the believer's behalf solely on the merits of Christ, and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.
7.  We BELIEVE in holy living, the present day reality of the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, the gifts of the spirit, (1st Cor. 4:12) the Lord's supernatural healing, (Is. 53:5; Matt. 8:9) and authority given to the church to perform the same (Matt. 10:1; Mark 16:17-18), that this included in the atonement, and that it is a definite part of the redemptive work of Christ.
8.  We BELIEVE in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit which indwells believers, and by whom they are enabled to live holy lives (John 17:17-18; Heb. 12:10; Col. 1:22).
9.  We BELIEVE that the purpose of the spirit-filled life is to demonstrate the supernatural power of God as evidence of the validity of the gospel that Jesus is alive.
10. We BELIEVE in intensive world evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the Great Commission and with signs following (Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:5-20).
11. We BELIEVE in paying of Tithes by all believers: Mal. 3:10-12;  Num. 18:6-12, 20-28; Matt. 23:23; and in sacrificial giving for the financial support of God's work on earth: Luke 11:42; 1st Cor. 16:2; 2nd Cor. 9:6-9; Heb. 7:1-21, including missions at home and abroad.
12.  We BELIEVE in Christ's Lordship of the church, the observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers, the washing of the saints' feet and the Lord's Supper: (Jhn. 13:2-19; 1 Tim. 5:10).
13.  We BELIEVE and practice the ordinance of dedication of infants by their reception as was set forth by the example of the Lord with prayers: (Mark 10:16).
14.  We BELIEVE in the solemnization of marriages as is set forth in the scriptures: (Gen.1:23-24; Eph. 5:31).
15.  We BELIEVE in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed in heaven, and the eternal doom of the unregenerated in the Lake of Fire: (John. 5:28-29).
16.  We BELIEVE that there are demonic forces in the world, causing men to do evil. Matt. 9:33, 12:26-27; Mark 5:4-5; and the God given authority of the church to cast them out of those possessed with them.
